Terms of Use

Last updated: August 28, 2026

This document is a draft template and has not been reviewed by an attorney. Please have it reviewed by a lawyer before publishing it live — this matters especially for the liability and disclaimer sections below, given that TaxLuvn provides information about tax law.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using taxluvn.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What TaxLuvn Is (and Isn't)

TaxLuvn is a free tool that provides general, educational information about the U.S. federal tax code, sourced from the Internal Revenue Code, Treasury Regulations, and IRS guidance, using an AI system to generate plain-English answers with citations back to those sources.

TaxLuvn is not tax, legal, or financial advice. Using TaxLuvn does not create any professional relationship — including an accountant-client, attorney-client, or advisor-client relationship — between you and TaxLuvn or anyone associated with it. TaxLuvn is not a substitute for consulting a qualified CPA, enrolled agent, tax attorney, or other tax professional about your specific situation.

Tax law is complex, fact-specific, and changes frequently. Do not make financial, filing, or legal decisions based solely on information from TaxLuvn.

3. Accuracy of Information

We work to keep TaxLuvn's information accurate and grounded in real, verifiable sources. However:

TaxLuvn is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

5. Intellectual Property

The underlying text of the Internal Revenue Code, Treasury Regulations, and IRS publications is U.S. government material and is not owned by TaxLuvn. TaxLuvn's own original content — including its summaries, interface, design, and branding — is owned by TaxLuvn and may not be copied or used commercially without our permission.

6. Third-Party Links and Content

TaxLuvn links to and cites external sources, including Cornell Law School's Legal Information Institute and IRS.gov. We do not control these third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TaxLuvn and its owners, operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including damages resulting from decisions made in reliance on information provided by the Service.

Your use of the Service, and any reliance on information it provides, is entirely at your own risk.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TaxLuvn and its owners, operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

9. No Warranty

The Service is provided without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any errors will be corrected.

10. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice.
